Killer Hen & Chicks Succulent

SEMPERVIVUM ‘Killer’. 4” tall, 4-8” spread, full sun. Dark green rosettes become mottled at the base of each leaf with red-green tones in summer. Each sharply pointed tip is tinged a burgundy red. Burgundy staining darkens to near black once winter hits. Zones 4-8. Potted in 3″ pot.

Sempervivum is the perfect plant for hot, dry, sunny locations with very well-drained soil. Though they can adapt to a variety of soil types, they perform best in gritty soil. If a groundcover effect is desired, space plants close together because they grow slowly.
