Tall. ANDROPOGON gerardii. 5' tall, 18-24" spread, full sun. This tall, native grass is a thing of beauty, as the foliage color changes throughout the year. In the spring it's green, in the summer it turns silvery green and in the Fall it turns red-orange. It thrives in a variety of soils, including dry, moist, sandy, and shallow soils. Drought tolerant. Warm season. Zones 3-9. Potted in 3" pot.
