GET OFF ME! Natural Pest Control Spray from rePotme is used to control common insect pests on orchids while also protecting the plant from fungus and bacterial problems. I contacted rePotme about a serious Fungus Gnat problem. They suggested I use Mosquito Bits, Get Off Me Bug Spray (because we have a dog with serious allergies) Yellow Sticky Traps and Mosquito Dunks. They warned me that it would take a while to resolve this problem and that I might have to repot my plants.

Within oh about a month and a half, NO Fungus Gnats! And I didn't have to repot. They told me that I can reduce my use of Mosquito Dunks to once a month for maintenance, though I will probably continue to use the Get Off Me Bug Spray which has a pleasant cinnamon odor.

I found the information on your website to be rather helpful as well as easy to comprehend, even for a novice orchid collector like myself. In addition, after one application of a BTI dunk and Get Off Me! the fungus gnat population has decreased in my home from approx. 30 to approx. 2. I have no doubt that with your advice and products I will have this problem under my heel shortly.

Mixing and Set-up Instructions:

Pour GET OFF ME! liquid into the spray bottle which has a cinnamon stick already inside. The liquid is pre-made with water, cinnamon and a few drops of baby shampoo as a surfactant. Once the spray bottle is filled and the spray head is attached, the product is ready to use!

Please note that the spray nozzle is adjustable for a fine spray or for a more coarse spray according to your requirements. Apply spray to plant paying special attention to the undersides of the leaves and to the area where the leaves join the stems of the plant. Repeat as necessary to control adult bugs and their offspring. There are no limitations on how often you can spray GET OFF ME! on your plants. It is a very mild solution for your plants.

We suggest that you isolate the plant or plants you are treating so as to prevent bugs from spreading to other plants. Keep the plants being treated isolated until you have eliminated the bug problem on them. They should be free of bugs for one week before rejoining other plants.

Should you need additional power to deal with stubborn bugs or infestations, adding isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to your GET OFF ME! liquid in a 50/50% solution will increase effectiveness for tougher bug problems. If spray bottle will not be used for extended periods, you should rinse it out at the sink and pump fluid from the spray head until next use.
